The workgroups were developed to provide implementation of the NC Cancer Plan for the NC Advisory committee and its perspective subcommittees. The overall mission of the Advisory Committee is to assist with reducing the overall burden of cancer for North Carolinians. From the inception of the workgroups, they will be grounded in the responsibilities and sub-competencies adapted from the developed overall goals and objectives of  the NC Comprehensive Cancer Program (NC CCP) and the NC Advisory Committee on Cancer Coordination and Control (NC A4C). Through the collaborative effort, the NC Cancer Partnership will implement various strategies in accordance to the related workgroup activities.
