The North Carolina Comprehensive Cancer Program created the NC Cancer Partnership to provide a structure for statewide, community-based cancer prevention and control activities, to allow for greater participation in comprehensive cancer planning and implementation, and to establish an open forum for any and all cancer stakeholders. With an open membership, the Partnership serves as a complement to the legislatively mandated, 34-member North Carolina Advisory Committee on Cancer Coordination and Control.
